Aligned in daily stand ups, design calls as well as led presentations showcasing work to business and development calls ensuring product was being built to proper quality.
New Features & Impact
In my 6+ months of working at Toyota, I have created some new features that have been integrated across the Cube Design System including:
In-Line Filtering: allowing users to be able to filter within data tables without having to type in various codes, rather - simplifying the experience while maintaining functionality in integrated dropdown fields
Multi-level Drill-down Data Tables: allowing users to be able to view more detailed data broken down by line level
Introduced multiple new graphs and charts that allowed for more data to be present
Led new products and other designers in creating a experience that utilizes our design system in a uniformed manner
Next Steps
Continually iterate on business needs as they roll in and create a more intuitive work flow for users as new desktop & tablet versions roll out, while ensuring designs are aligned to AAA accessibly guidelines.
Impact:
Created a desktop experience for employees to seamlessly view large amount of data on a singular platform. This pioneered the way for many other bodies of work as we continue to create a single omnichannel for Toyota employees to view and manage their supply chain. These applications makes users feel like they are able to streamline their work and give users a more customized, personal experience in managing their data.
